Eunice
Eunice qualified as a counsellor in 2010 and is a member of the BACP, UKATA, ITAA and EATA. She has a private practice counselling both adults and young people. She uses an integrative approach, drawing on interventions from Transactional analysis, Person-centred, Gestalt and solution-focused therapy, to enable her to meet the client’s needs. Eunice is passionate about supporting and empowering clients to achieve the outcomes they desire and patiently works to overcome the presenting issues that hinder this growth.
She has worked in Secondary schools, with both staff and students, as well as counselling in a specialised counselling service for survivors of sexual abuse. She has worked as a trainer in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention ( recognising and responding to signs of escalating crisis ), and has worked with clients with additional needs. Eunice works in areas including trauma, life transitions, anxiety, stress, self-harm, abuse, guilt, relationship issues, self-esteem, body image, anger management, communication and grief.
Eunice is a qualified therapeutic supervisor, supervising both trainee counsellors, and qualified counsellors, to ensure best practice in line with ethical practice guidelines.
