Jo
Jo is an integrative counsellor, using a variety of different approaches and styles to help clients, dependant on their individual needs.
She qualified as a Counsellor in 2015 and has worked with a number of different issues including: self-worth, confidence, relationships, marriage, family, eating disorders, grief, abuse, anger, anxiety, depression, among others. She has had experience working with a large range of ages and has a heart for walking alongside anyone that is struggling.
Jo has had experience working with teenagers and young adults prior to Counselling and has done a lot of psycho education work. As a Counsellor she has worked for a number of charities and has a private practice.
Jo has been through her own personal struggles in the past, and that combined with her love for people and a desire to see them free from their issues, means that she is willing to listen and work with anyone of any age that is wanting to become more self-aware and less stuck.
As well as a counsellor, Jo is also a pastoral life coach and mentor. She is a registered member of the BACP.
Jo also processes referrals to Arise Counselling Service.
